Toy boat man swept 1 mile

A TOURIST had to be rescued after drifting a mile out to sea in a toy dinghy.

He was found rowing against the tide with tiny paddles and no safety gear near Redcar, North Yorks, by an RNLI crew.

They said: “We could well have been bringing a dead body back”.
