Two glassed by drunken office boss
A DRUNKEN recruitment boss glassed two men in the face because they had “given her an evil look”.
Lynn Tonks, 50, left the strangers scarred for life after deciding to “teach the young men a lesson”.
Tonks was in a pub when Simon Dove, 39, looked at her with what she believed was “venom and hatred”, a court heard.
After slapping his face she attacked Dove and his pals with her wine glass.
One man was left bleeding from the face before Tonks hit Mr Dove with the stem, cracking his eye socket and leaving him needing 70 stitches.
Tonks, of Downend, Bristol, was convicted of wounding and causing actual bodily harm by a jury at Bristol crown court and jailed for three years.
