Life after Charlie

What beautiful words from Charlie Gard’s uncle to his tragic nephew about the battle fought by his parents.

“I know inside you’ll always know how much they fought for you,” wrote Andy Gard. “But now they both need you from heaven to watch over them now too.” How true that is. Chris Gard and Connie Yates fought a momentous battle on behalf of little Charlie. I fear they now have a similar battle to keep their strength and their relationship together in the dreadful months of grief which lie ahead.
