C4 10.30pm It’s the final episode of this third series, which has once again been superbly captivating and full of incredible performances – but if you’re expecting a happy ending then you’ve probably not been watching so far.

Even Gloria has had enough, leaving her resignation note on her boss’s desk and getting ready to leave the station for good.

Fortunately a call from an IRS agent – who’s been sent a whole room full of evidence by Nikki Swango – comes just in time to fire her up and get her back on the case. Oh yes.

Nikki is a woman hellbent on revenge, and she and Mr Wrench stage a pretty epic ambush on Varga and his men. But she’s not really bothered about taking out those bad guys or collecting their cash – it’s her beloved Ray’s brother who she is after.

And it’s very unlikely that anything will get in her way, which Gloria also realises and so tries to track down Emmitt to warn him.

But will anyone make it out alive? We’re keeping schtum on that score.
