My moggie is real lifesaver
A DIABETIC says she owes her life to her cat, which can sense when her blood sugar falls dangerously low while she is sleeping.
Kirsty Furness, 28, said rescue tabby Charlie has pawed and yowled her into waking dozens of times.
The type 1 sufferer said: “If I didn’t wake up, I could go into a coma or die.”
Kirsty, from Stevenage, Herts, think she gives off a scent Charlie, 20, detects.
She has put him up for an award with Cats Protection in the hope more people adopt older cats.
