‘Beast of the Bay’ spotted

A MASSIVE cat has been seen prowling close to a children’s playground.

The lynx-like animal was spotted stalking beside bushes at Herne Bay, Kent.

Mum-of-two Maria Parkhouse, 48, from London, said: “The size of it took my breath away.

“There was something about the ferociousness of its face, like out of a movie.”

Nature park Wildwood – which has lynx, wolves and bears – is just three miles away, but no animals are reported missing.
