Petra hubby in hospital on split hearing
THE estranged husband of Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone did not attend a divorce hearing because he is being treated in hospital, a court heard.
Ms Ecclestone, 28, the daughter of billionaire Bernie, attended a case management hearing at the Central Family Court in Holborn, Central London, yesterday.
Her lawyers said they had a letter from Cromwell Hospital in West London, confirming that James Stunt, 35, is being treated there but giving no details on how long he has been there or what is wrong.
Nicholas Cusworth QC, for Ms Ecclestone, said: “What we don’t know is why he has been hospitalised. But we do know he isn’t here.” A full hearing is scheduled in October.
