Skipper’s help reaching birth

A LIFEBOAT had to pick up a tug skipper so he could dash to hospital for the birth of his child.

He was stuck in a storm near Sea Palling, Norfolk, when he learned his wife was in labour a 150-mile drive away in London.

The rescue crew got him to his car late on Thursday.
