Pearson in – Yiadom ready to Tyke off

BARNSLEY have snapped up right-back Matty Pearson, as they prepare to sell Ghana full-back Andy Yiadom.

Yiadom (above), 25, has turned down a new deal and has just 12 months left on his Tykes contract. He is wanted by both Huddersfield and Swansea.

The Terriers initially offered £750,000 but may have to go to £2million to land him. Pearson, 24, joins on a three-yeardeal from Accrington Stanley.
