Brit missing in Oz is found

A BRITON missing for three days in the Australian outback has been rescued.

Anthony Collis, 32, and a female pal had left their car for unknown reasons while driving to Darwin on the Canning Stock Route.

The friend, who became separated from him near Well 22, raised the alarm at a campsite on Thursday.

Mr Collis, originally from Wiltshire, was found by police in remote bushland yesterday. A spokesman said: “He is dehydrated and suffering from exposure but otherwise fine.”
