I’d like to comment on the letter from the woman who feels belittled by her jealous boss (Dear Coleen, July 12).

You could also have mentioned seeking the advice of her union representative.

As an ex union rep, I found employees experiencing a similar problem were reluctant to visit HR for fear of retaliation from their immediate manager.

An employee does not have to be a union member to seek advice from a union.
