ROCHDALE midfielder Jamie Allen claims he was lucky to escape serious injury after being crocked by Pompey’s Jamal Lowe.

Lowe was sent off for the foul nine minutes from time and Allen said: “It was a terrible tackle.

“Luckily it’s just left me with superficial marks and cuts on my leg – it could have been far worse.”

Rochdale’s Keith Keane was sent off for hauling down Conor Chaplin in a game settled by Brett Pitman’s double strike.
