GRANDAD Harry Moorhouse stays above par for his age – by playing golf at 100 years old.

Harry completes nine holes twice a week and says his pastime goes a fairway to keeping him fit. It could also leave him quids in. This month Eaton Golf Club, in his home city of Norwich, awarded him lifetime membership.

The widower and father-of-two said of the sport he only took up aged 50: “I’ve loved it ever since.”

The ex-textile representative has some tips to stay on tee-mendous form: “Think young, keep young, act young – plenty of golf and walking. That’s the secret, walking.”

To mark his 100th, Harry filled the clubhouse with friends and family... but did his nine holes first.
