Miniature-horse wins a ding-dong pet battle
Forget dancing dogs, ITV has trained a miniature horse to do a jaw-dropping trick.
Aslan, a nine-year-old South American falabella, opens a front door when a doorbell sounds.
The pet did the trick after just a handful of training sessions, unlike Eric the dog. Aslan stars in the first episode of new series Teach My Pet To Do That.
It starts on ITV on Friday, fronted by Pointless host Alexander Armstrong. He says: “One giant leap for miniature horse-kind. Incredibly, the horse succeeded the first go, outstripping Eric who took three attempts.”
The episode also features Ziggy the skateboarding dog, and River the cat, who rides Moss the dog.
