Life dangling by a thread
A MAN is lifted to safety after being spotted hanging from a pylon wire 60ft in the air.
A major operation was launched to save the man who was stuck there in his shorts.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue added: “The utility company shut off electricity and the Rope Rescue Team ascended, securing the casualty, then administering medication.”
How the man, thought to be in his 30s, became trapped up the pylon in Hutton, Lancs, on Monday is unknown.
He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
