Kyle guest jailed after police stand-off over cheating wife

A MAN whose unfaithful wife was exposed on The Jeremy Kyle Show has been jailed for assaulting her during a stand-off with armed police.

Devout Mormon Alan Kent, 38, locked Louise, 26, in their home before threatening to kill himself over her cheating. Officers spent hours negotiating.

Kent was seen on the ITV show in February and the SHOCK Alan Kent on TV show host described him as “barking mad” and his “favourite guest ever”. Louise failed her lie detector test and they vowed to salvage the relationship.

Neighbour Vickie Martin said of the “hostage situation” in Colchester, Essex, in July: “He was kicking off, shouting out of his windows.”

Kent admitted charges including assault. Chelmsford magistrates gave him 16 weeks. Louise yesterday admitted to cheating.
