Farewell to a music legend

It’s such sad news to read of the passing of country music legend Glen Campbell, aged 81, from Alzheimer’s (Mirror, August 9). Glen’s melodic voice was a joy to listen to and always brought a smile to country music fans everywhere.

But he led a long and happy life and had a hugely successful career spanning six decades which included the stage and film, as well as music. We shall all miss you, Glen. RIP. Roberta Jones, South Benfleet, Essex
