CHED EVANS drove the Blades to success in his first game for them since April 2012 with two assists against Walsall.

Evans, 28, was put on by boss Chris Wilder (right) as a 52nd-minute sub and it was his volley that led to an own-goal equaliser by the Saddlers’ Kory Roberts. Evans’ right-side cross was then netted by Nathan Thomas on 79 minutes and Daniel Lafferty made it 3-1. Walsall’s Amadou Bakayoko had struck the first, and Erhun Oztumer late on.
