Soldado’s Turkish delight at Fen move

FORMER Spain striker Roberto Soldado is set to join Fenerbahce from Villarreal.

The Turkish side are ready to spend nearly £10million on the 32-year-old ex-Valencia and Tottenham forward (above), who played only 11 games last season due to injury.

“The agreement is subject to small details in the contract and the medical review,” said a Villarreal statement.

Soldado, who began his career with Real Madrid, has 12 Spain caps.
