Son’s plea on mum murder

A MAN has appealed for help tracing his mother’s killer, 20 years after she was strangled and stabbed.

Tragic Patricia Grainger, 25, was also sexually assaulted before she died.

Her body was dumped in a brook near her home at Parson Cross, Sheffield.

Police yesterday set up a mobile station as they began a hunt for new clues.

Patricia’s Son Danny, 25, said: “Somebody may know something.

“Our family has had 20 years of pain. We just need to know who did this.”
