Hols pair face fine for pilot laser attacks
A BRITISH father and son on holiday in Spain face a fine of up to £540,000 after being accused of shining laser lights at planes landing at Malaga Airport.
An off-duty police officer staying at the same hotel as the pair raised the alarm after seeing them use the green lasers in the Bajondillo area of Torremolinos.
At least three pilots complained of being targeted with lasers on Tuesday night.
Spanish police said: “Two green laser pointers were confiscated.”
It is not known where in the UK the unnamed dad, 41, and his son, 15, live.
They were not arrested but have been told to expect a fine of between £27,000 and £540,000.
Their current whereabouts are unknown.
