SOAP UPDATE

ITV, 7pm Charity is plotting something devious – which is about as surprising as cold weather in winter. She sees Megan softening towards Frank, as he waxes lyrical about charity work and viewing Eliza as his daughter. Determined, no doubt, to come between them, Charity pockets Frank’s phone when he leaves it in the Woolpack. Doesn’t bode well.

Meanwhile, Finn makes a surprising suggestion to Emma, and elsewhere Jacob sticks to his guns – well for now, anyway. STAG FRIGHT Chesney gets into a panic

ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm Poor old Chesney is back at work at the kebab shop after being in hospital with stab wounds. Fiz is concerned it’s too soon, but he insists he’s fine – which in soapworld, of course, rings alarm bells. Before long he is faced with a rowdy bunch on a stag night and, as they get more boisterous, he has a panic attack and runs off struggling for breath. But there’s no way he can tell Sinead.
