# I am sure the right to die (Madeuthink, August 8) will become law once the current bunch of old cronies are out of power.

The number of people who don’t want to see their relatives struggle in physical and or mental agony is far greater than those who oppose euthanasia.

I have a message for C Collins of Selby whose letter said, “Only God has the right to give life and take it away”.

If there is a God, why has he given me cancer twice, a brain tumour, a stroke and primary MS?

I’ve been teetotal for over 10 years, but the day the law is finally changed I may have a drink to celebrate it! Mark Buckmaster Woking, Surrey
