Barclay: No tricks
SPURS have been warned to forget trying their usual transfer deadline tricks over Ross Barkley.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman said he will not fall for Daniel Levy attempting to get a cut-price deal for Barkley, 23, this month.
Koeman was boss of Southampton when Spurs tried to prise Morgan Schneiderlin and then Victor Wanyama away.
He said: “If there is a club thinking ‘we can wait until the last day and we put some money on the table and we get Ross Barkley’, sorry, you do not get Ross Barkley.”
Everton are demanding £50million for Barkley.
