FALLEN ON HARDING TIMES
During Girls Aloud’s heyday, I spoke to the band many times. I always recall Sarah Harding as funny, confident and stunningly attractive. Currently taking part in Celebrity Big Brother, it’s clear to see she’s lost a bit of that. Her smile only returned, amidst tears, when she heard the crowd outside the BB house cheer loudest for her. Relying on the love of strangers for happiness is not a recipe for sturdy emotional health. In fact, it’s probably that yearning for the lost adoration of her glory days that lies at the heart of her problems.
