If you haven’t heard of Tom Grennan, you’ll hear his music soon – particularly if you are a football fan.

The 20-year-old singer, who was named in the BBC Music Sound of 2017 list, is having his single Found What I’ve Been Looking For used as the soundtrack on the titles for Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage this season.

It sounds as if Tom has scored the winner with this one. This week we Snap Chatted with vocal harmony group The Overtones, who are working with Strictly’s Anton du Beke on his debut album and rehearsing for their festive UK tour...

What were you doing at 3am? Timmy Matley: “Me and Lachie stayed up until 3am drinking after a festival. We had a lock in. We can be double trouble when we get together and don’t need to egg each other on too much. We went back to our really old Georgian hotel and were asking the receptionist if it was haunted.”

What are your hidden talents? Lachie Chapman: “If we were on an airplane and major s*** went down I reckon I could get us on the ground. I’ve flown a flight simulator since I was about seven or eight. When we’ve got a flight I’m always there early watching the planes come in.”

Tell us a secret… Darren Everest: “I’m really into home decor and interior design – I would like to do something with that in the future. My dad used to do interior design – that’s where I get it from.” Timmy: “I didn’t shower yesterday. I love having a shower but don’t know what happened.”

Tickets for their Christmas With The Overtones tour, starting December 3 in Manchester, are on sale now. Their Happy Days EP is also available.
