SPURS TO SIGN £35M SANCHEZ

TOTTENHAM are in talks to sign £35million Davinson Sanchez.

Spurs are confident of landing the versatile Ajax defender (above) in a deal that would shatter their transfer record and produce the perfect response to critics of their lack of signings.

Chairman Daniel Levy is understood to be in Amsterdam trying to thrash out a deal for the centre-back, 21, who has won two Colombia caps.

Sanchez was Ajax’s player of the year last season and shone in the Europa League final against Manchester United.
