Spain beach boat: 9 teens are captured
NINE teenagers have been tracked down after a boatload of migrants landed on a Spanish beach in front of stunned holidaymakers.
The 30 fled the beach near Cadiz and another 15 landed nearby at the same time on Wednesday.
A Civil Guard source said the nine, Moroccans aged 15 to 17, were hiding in bushes and fields.
Another source said: “Being minors, it’s unlikely they’ll be returned.” Refugees reaching Spain have soared in recent months.
A ship used by far-right Defend Europe, which tries to halt migrants, had to be helped by a migrant rescue boat when its engine failed off the coast of Italy.
