OxyContin

‘Hillbilly Crack’ is a heroin alternative. Side-effects include drowsiness, nausea, cold sweats and vomiting.

Morphine

Derivative of the opium poppy, usually a safe but powerful sedative. Biggest threat is from overdose, which can kill.

Temazepam

Sedative pill used for insomnia. Should not be mixed with drugs or booze. Only meant to be taken in the short-term.

Tramadol

Painkiller not as strong as heroin, but has similar side-effects which increase when mixed with anti-depressants.

Codeine

Opiate treats pain by inducing feelings of well-being and sleepiness. Can cause bloating, nausea and confusion.

Diazepam

Used on anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, muscle spasms. Can cause drowsiness, muscle weakness and depression.

Co-codamol

A painkiller made from a mix between codeine and paracetamol. Can cause sickness and dizziness.

Beer, wine, spirits

Legal, most common depressant. Can lead to range of problems including stroke, liver disease and cancers.
