Doc tells Jez: Stop working or you will die
DOCTORS told Jeremy Clarkson he will die from his pneumonia unless he stops working to recover.
The Grand Tour host, 57, was hospitalised while on holiday in Majorca.
Medics found his levels of a protein created by the liver, known as CRP, were dangerously high.
Clarkson said one told him: “A healthy person’s CRP should be five, yours is 337. If you don’t do as I say, you will die.”
The TV presenter is expected to be off work for two months after falling ill.
Writing in his Sunday Times column, he said of being in hospital earlier this month: “The boredom was so bad I thought often about killing myself.”
The Grand Tour is due to return to Amazon Prime in November.
