I’d like to respond to the letter from the woman who’s tempted to leave her husband for an old flame she hasn’t seen in 22 years (Dear Coleen, July 31). That’s a very long time, and people change over such a number of years.

Before splitting, she ought to work out if it’s just sex that’s become boring or if she’s fallen out of love with her husband. If it’s a boring sex life that’s tempting her to leave, then she can do things to resurrect it and make it more enjoyable.
