Anne Robinson would be the first to confess she’s never had much success when it comes to marriage.
After two divorces, she admits she doesn’t know the secret to a happy relationship. But she’s determined to find the answer, even if it means snooping behind closed doors. Travelling around the country, she meets five couples from very different backgrounds, all of whom think they have the answer. And there are some interesting questions in the mix.
How have middleaged Janet and Malcolm survived an affair? What happens if you don’t want to just sleep with your spouse? To find answers, she meets a polyamorous group.
Anne also gets two couples to see what they make of each other’s relationships. There’s Whitney and Megan (‘Wegan’) who can’t bear to be apart – they even go to the loo together – and David and Claire who keep things fresh by not living together.
