Tributes to tot killed in horror crash
THE parents of a toddler killed by a car after a children’s concert paid tribute to their “perfect son”.
Jackson Yates, aged 17 months, was struck by a Toyota Rav4 after seeing In the Night Garden Live in Manchester with family.
From home in Yarm, North Yorks, mum Cheryl, 37, said: “He never stopped, he was always smiling. He was loving as well.”
Dad Carl, 31, who works for a paving supplier, added: “If I came in from work, he would run over and cuddle my legs.
“You couldn’t ask for a better little baby boy. He was perfect.”
Greater Manchester Police are investigating the crash but have said they believe it was a tragic accident and there are no suspicious circumstances.
