Clem bars mavericks

-

PAUL CLEMENT says he has no room for mavericks at Swansea City.

The former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich assistant knows he must add to his squad once Gylfi Sigurdsson’s protracted £50million Everton move is finally confirmed.

And Clement is keen to bring in West Brom’s Nacer Chadli and Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.

But the Swans boss insisted: “It will always be an important part of things here that what we do is about the collective. We’ve been working at that.

“People talk about Gylfi because he’s a good player. Fernando Llorente is a similar situation.

“But it will always be the case here that the team is the most important thing, not one individual.”
