Roo can give Blues leg up

SPEAKING of which… Wayne Rooney has been proving people wrong throughout his career and I’m delighted he proved me wrong at the weekend. I wasn’t sure he still had the legs to do what he did against Stoke — starting a move on the halfway line, getting into the box and finishing it off with a header. I still don’t think Rooney (above) will do it for the 50-60 games Everton boss Ronald Koeman really needs him to do it for, but if he can do it for around half that number he will prove a massive asset to the Blues.
