‘£33m scam’ gran is found dead aged 49

-

THE gran who hit headlines after wrongly claiming to have scooped £33million has been found dead after a suspected heart attack.

Susanne Hinte, 49, had suffered from an enlarged heart and her body was found at her home in Worcester by son Brandon, 18.

Her agent Barry Tomes said yesterday: “I believe it was heart failure or a heart attack. She had a lot of enemies but this is sad news. Whatever she’s been involved with in the past nobody deserves to go like that at such a young age.”

German-born Hinte claimed last year she put a jackpot ticket in the wash, wiping the date and barcode.

Camelot dismissed her bid and she faced harsh criticism. She said: “I wanted to be dead. I couldn’t understand why I was hated by so many.”
