Five drugs in Tiger Woods when arrested
DRIVING RAP Tiger Woods TIGER Woods had five drugs in his system when he was arrested for driving while under the influence, including the main chemical compound in cannabis.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office released the toxicology report from May 29, when the golfer was found asleep in his car 10 miles from his Florida home.
He tested positive for painkillers hydrocodone and hydromorphone, anxiety drug alprazolam, sleep pill zolpidem and tetrahydrocannabinol – or THC the chemical in cannabis that gives a euphoric high.
Woods said at the time: “I didn’t realise the mix of medications affected me so strongly.” He never mentioned cannabis.
The star last week struck a plea deal with prosecutors and is set to enter a rehabilitation scheme for the driving offence to avoid jail.
