JOR-DROPPING WIN FOR TRACTOR BOYS

Millwall 3 Ipswich 4

-

JORDAN SPENCE scored the winner as Ipswich maintained their perfect start.

The former West Ham defender landed the decisive blow two minutes from time in a seven-goal thriller.

Jed Wallace fired Millwall ahead after just 44 seconds before the visitors hit back through Joe Garner’s longrange effort.

Martyn Waghorn (above) put the Tractor Boys in front when he finished off a slick move, only for the Lions to level when Aiden O’Brien bundled home after George Saville hit the bar.

Waghorn made it 3-2 in first-half stoppage-time after David McGoldrick had waltzed through the Millwall defence.

Tom Elliott thought he had earned the home side a deserved point when he poked the ball in at the back post – but Spence glanced in Grant Ward’s free-kick.
