According to Brighton police officers, there is a lot of organised crime, robberies and stabbings.
Cue another reminder of our amazing emergency services, as this two-parter follows cops on the beat.
Tonight’s episode shows us a scary armed robbery at a betting shop, during which two masked men hold a gun to the manager’s chest and make off with the contents of the till.
Detective Sergeant Julie Greenwood is confident they will strike again, saying: “They get cocky, and think, ‘Oh we’ve got away with that one’.”
Meanwhile, after a six-month undercover operation, officers are closing in on a gang who they believe are controlling much of the class A drug supply in the city.
PC Rob Staplehurst says: “Fighting with someone who’s had a lot of cocaine up their nose is not a lot of fun, so this is good for us to get this off the streets.” RIDE ON Mum June and Sarah
