CBB birdbrains miss out on Bill

Bill Oddie says he turned down a big-money offer to go into the Celebrity Big Brother house this year – because it clashed with a bird fair.

And how did renowned bird watcher Bill, 76, below, reveal this news? Why, he tweeted it, of course.

He told his followers: “I was offered a humongous amount of money to do Celebrity Big Brother, but it clashed with THE BIRD FAIR at Rutland water this weekend.” And that’s not the only reality show he has turned down.

He added on Twitter: “Reality shows I have been asked to be on – ‘I’m a celeb Get me out of here (twice), Celeb Big Brother, Strictly and the Voice (honestly!).” They’ll get you one day, Bill.
