Beke’s can-can do on Len show

BBC 1’s new Saturday night game show Partners in Rhyme is set to be one of the barmiest TV series of the year. The first episode has Anton du Beke miming the can-can, Mr Motivator re-enacting Queen’s I Want To Break Free video – as a woman doing the vacuuming – and EastEnders actress Laila Morse on an invisible skateboard. Host Len Goodman, the Strictly ex-head judge, drops 10 rhyming catchphrases into the half-hour show, where a holiday is on offer to contestants who team up with celebrities. It’s hard to say how it will go down, so we’ll sit on the fence and give it SE-VEN!
