Versace killing in the spotlight

The second series of hit show American Crime Story is set to air on BBC2

The Assassination of Gianni Versace will be screened next year. It is the follow-up to the BAFTAwinning The People Vs O.J. Simpson, which aired on BBC Two in 2016.

The new series examines the Florida murder of the legendary fashion designer in the summer of 1997.

Edgar Ramirez stars as Gianni Versace, above, Penelope Cruz as his sister, Donatella, and Ricky Martin as his partner, Antonio D’Amico. Darren Criss plays the killer, Andrew Cunanan.
