Prolific Aussie dynamo Kelly may lack the profile of American counterparts Springsteen and Dylan, but his best work marks him out as an Antipodean counterpart to both. This beautifully crafted album (his 22nd studio work) is a return to the wry, deep wrought singer-songwriting vein that has yielded treasures aplenty for him in the past. Lyrically vivid and emphatically tailored tunes such as Finally Something Good and Rock Out On The Sea highlight both his perception and rocking soul.
