Clifford’s sex victims will get £95k from £2.7m home sale

- BY STEPHEN WHITE

MAX Clifford’s sex attack victims will finally get compensation after he sold his house – with a £700,000 discount.

They have been waiting for the money for more than three years.

Clifford, 74, is bankrupt after legal bills funding his defence and a costly divorce from his wife after his assaults shame.

His six-bedroom house in Hersham, Surrey, went for £2.7 million, a drop from last year’s initial £3.45 million asking price. The celebrity publicist agreed to pay one victim £15,000 and another £80,000. Once the sale goes through, monies will go to his victims’ solicitors. Princess Di’s ex-butler Paul Burrell is due £5,000 damages after Clifford tried to sell material about the royals behind his back. Clifford was jailed for eight years in May 2014 for a string of indecent assaults.
