BILL HAS WILL TO SUCCEED

- BY DAVE MITCHELL

BELGIAN BILL missed an engagement on the all-weather at Chelmsford on Tuesday, but does run for the first time since his Royal Hunt Cup spin at Doncaster.

The veteran is without a win since taking the big Ascot handicap four years ago, but was in decent form in Meydan during the winter and is expected to come on for his comeback.

BELGIAN BILL had no chance with the draw that day, but shaped far better than his finishing position suggests and today’s contest is easier.

ELYSIUM DREAM didn’t get the run of the race last time and deserves another chance on her return to Newmarket.

HORSEPLAY followed up her Oaks run with a better run in the French version last month and is interesting with all the weight allowances at Newbury.
