WILDER CALM IN A CRISIS
CHRIS WILDER is relishing the scrap as Sheffield United adjust to life in the Championship.
After an opening-day win over Brentford, his newly-promoted side have now suffered back-to-back defeats at Middlesbrough and Cardiff.
And the Blades face another tough game against neighbours Barnsley today. “I quite enjoy, in a perverse way, periods like this,” said the United boss (left), who led Oxford and Northampton to promotion before taking over at the club he played for and supported as a boy.
“When there is a little doubt, I don’t go into my shell. It’s quite easy to manage when you’re winning, the key is what do you do when things have gone against you.”
