TEARS FOR POOR JOY
Having read the article on Joy Watson, the Alzheimer’s sufferer who has helped so many and was praised by David Cameron, I can’t believe the DWP has cut her benefits (Mirror, August 15). And why? Because she is too active.
It is recommended that people suffering Alzheimer’s keep active and use their brain.
The assessments carried out on behalf of the DWP are not fit for purpose. Joy’s situation is a disgrace. Jeff Burton, Stocktonon-Tees, Teesside
