Twitter ‘rife with sexism’

ACTIVISTS have accused Twitter of failing to remove “degrading and violent” posts against women.

Labour MP Yvette Cooper, of Reclaim The Internet, said: “Vile racist and misogynist abuse gets reported to them, but they are too slow to act.”

The website said: “Abuse [has] no place on Twitter.”
