Death threat hell for Love Island Olivia
REALITY TV star Olivia Attwood was “bombarded” with death threats and abusive message during her time on Love Island.
Olivia, 26, said while she was in the show, the people running her social media accounts spent hours deleting messages and blocking abusers.
She told BBC Radio 5 Live: “It was very extreme. At controversial points in the show, people were bombarding with personal comments and death threats. It was shocking.”
She told Victoria Derbyshire’s show the abuse was ongoing. She said: “Now they range from really sexist, awful remarks from men to people saying, ‘I wish you would just die’.
“If someone said those things in the street, you would go to the police.”
