Killer’s note begged forgiveness
ONE of the Catalan terrorists left a suicide note for his parents begging forgiveness for the “harm” he knew he was about to cause.
Said Aalla, 18, put the handwritten letter in a bedroom drawer and it was reportedly found in a search of his house in Ripoll.
The letter said: “I beg forgiveness from the people who I can hurt in these days. “Many thanks for everything you have given me.” Aalla was shot dead in the resort of Cambrils. His father Brahmim, whose other son Youssef, 22, is presumed dead in an explosion at a bomb factory in Alcanar, insisted they were “good boys” whose minds were poisoned.
The 50-year-old, from Morocco, blamed imam Abdelbaki Es Satty, who preached for two years at the mosque in Ripoll, where 11 of the 12 attackers lived.
Cleric Es Satty was said to have connections with al-Qaeda.
